After over 30 years with Standard Concrete Products, Inc. and our related companies, Garry Reisner will be retiring as of June 30, 2006.  His most recent role with Standard Concrete has been as the Human Resources Manager.  His duties have included union negotiations, safety and environmental issues, workers compensation reviews and benefits.  That's a long way from where he started as a mixer driver in 1976!  Even with retirement, Garry has offered his services as a consultant on labor, safety and environmental issues.

He and his wife Carole plan to travel North America in their new recreational vehicle and will be spending the month of July in Australia. G'day Garry!

Also leaving us on June 30th is Jim Bennett.  Jim has been with CSM Ready Mix and our related companies for over 16 years.  His most recent role has been as the Manager of Sales and Operations of CSM Ready Mix in the Inland Empire.

Jim and his wife Carol have purchased a home in the Palm Springs as well as a condominium in Grand Terrace.  While uncertain of his plans for retirement, there seems to be a passion for the industry and we wouldn't be surprised if Jim popped up somewhere doing consulting work of his own.

We wish both Garry and Jim the best on their next stage of life and hope that retirement brings them as much joy as working with them has brought Standard Concrete and CSM Ready Mix!
